Sometimes driver installation on computer, specially on windows 7 becomes terrible, because printers and scanners which are too old or too new, have difficult to find the correct driver on websites. So don't worry ! the most convenient option to install printer or scanner driver in windows 7 is through windows update.
Steps:
Step 1. Go to Start > control panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices & Printers
OR
Simply go to Start> Devices & Printers.
Step 2. There will be showing attention mark on not updated / not installed printer or scanner driver.
(Secret tip: Don't Forget to plug your printer or scanner in CPU or this technique will never work ;) )
Step 3. Right click on un-updated driver or scanner and then click "TroubleShoot".
Step 4. It will take sometime to catch the driver from internet :) so pleas be patient.
Step 5. When completed, it will show two options, "Apply This Fix" and "Skip This Fix". Click on "Apply This Fix".
After clicking Apply This Fix option, it will automatically install required driver for printer / scanner / fax machine or other connected devices
I have tried this method only on printer and scanner and not sure that will work on other devices so please stay connected with us for other software solutions !.
